ScrollBox collects nothing.
Last updated November 8, 2026
ScrollBox is made so your collection stays yours. There are no ads, no analytics and no ScrollBox account, and we never see what you save.
What you save
- Everything you save in ScrollBox (notes, links, saved pages, photos, voice notes, sketches, files, places, tags, stacks and reminders) is stored on your iPhone.
- If iCloud is on, it syncs through your own private iCloud database, under your Apple Account. Apple stores it; we can't read it.
- The share sheet and the widgets read and write the same storage on your iPhone. Nothing goes to a server of ours, because there isn't one.
Location
- If you allow it, ScrollBox saves where you were when you captured something, and photos keep the place they were taken. You can turn this off in Settings, and remove a place from any card.
- Places stay on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. When you share a saved spot, only its name and note are shared.
Pages you save
When you save a link, ScrollBox downloads that page from its website so it can keep a readable copy. That request goes straight from your iPhone to the website, like opening it in Safari would.
What we collect
Nothing. ScrollBox has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party code that collects data. Purchases go through Apple, and we don't receive your payment details.
