Links and articles
Save a page and ScrollBox keeps a clean, readable copy, even if the page changes later.
ScrollBox for iPhone
Links, photos, voice notes and ideas, saved in a second from anywhere you scroll. It all lands in one place that's yours, in your own iCloud.
Coming soon to the App Store.
What you can save
Whatever catches your eye, on the web or out in the world, goes in with a tap. No folders to pick and nothing to sort.
Save a page and ScrollBox keeps a clean, readable copy, even if the page changes later.
Recipe pages become cards with ingredients you can tick off and steps that keep your screen awake.
Take one or bring in up to ten at once. Each keeps the place it was taken.
It's recording the moment it opens. Say it now, find it later.
Jot it down. Any #word becomes a tag you can find things by.
Draw it with your finger or Apple Pencil, and come back to edit it.
Save a spot on the map with a note, and see everything you saved on a map.
PDFs, manuals, receipts: anything from Files, kept with everything else.
Save from anywhere
You don't have to open ScrollBox to fill it.
In Safari, Photos or any app, tap Share, then ScrollBox. Add a note if you like. From Safari it saves the page just as you see it.
On your Home Screen and Lock Screen: a + to capture, a box at a glance, or what's due today.
Press it and you're already capturing: a note, a voice memo, a photo, whatever you choose.
"Save to ScrollBox" works in any shortcut, and you can ask Siri for a new voice note.
In the app, you just pinch.
How it works
Zoom from one big card to four across. Newest on top, by day, with months when you zoom out.
Pick a few cards and make a box, like "Build a table" or "Gift ideas". A box can keep gathering by tag, and ScrollBox suggests one when it spots a group.
No inbox to empty and no count of unsorted things. Older cards fold into piles by week and month.
Search by words, tags or a date. "walnut last week" works.
Later today, tomorrow, this weekend. It comes back when you need it.
Own your stuff
Apps like Pinterest are free because the ads pay for them. Your saves sit next to promoted posts, your taps help pick what they sell you, and the feed is built to keep you scrolling. ScrollBox works the other way: you pay once, and what you collect is yours.
| Ad-supported apps like Pinterest | ScrollBox | |
|---|---|---|
| Who pays | Advertisers, for your attention | You, once: $5, or free for the basics |
| Ads | Promoted posts in your feed and search | None. Not now, not later. |
| Your activity | Used to choose the ads you see | Not collected. No analytics, no tracking. |
| Where your things live | On the company's servers | On your iPhone and in your private iCloud |
| What you see | A feed tuned to keep you scrolling | Only what you saved |
| Account | Theirs, on their terms | No ScrollBox account at all |
And no monthly bill. Lots of save-for-later and notes apps charge every month for sync and storage. ScrollBox syncs through the iCloud you already have, so there's nothing to rent.
Pricing
No subscription, no storage plan, no ads paying for it behind your back.
Free
$5one time
The full version is a one-time in-app purchase through the App Store; prices can differ by country. Your cards use your own iCloud storage, which comes with 5 GB free from Apple.
Private by design
ScrollBox has no analytics and doesn't follow you across apps or websites. Nothing you save is used to sell you anything.
Your cards stay on your iPhone and sync through your private iCloud. We can't see them, and neither can anyone else.
Where you saved something stays private. Share a spot and only its name and note go along.
